━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ リヴァプール・ニュース ／ News of the Liverpool World ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ NLW ■ *** http://scousehouse.net/ *** □■ INDEX ■□ ▽フロム・エディター ▼寄稿：「寄稿：「Match Review: LFC vs Blackburn Rovers」 ▽スカウスハウス・ニュース ▼今週のフォト ――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――― ▽フロム・エディター ――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――─ NLW □ 今週のNLWは原稿が１本。Albert Dockさんのフットボールマッチ・レポート 「Match Review: LFC vs Blackburn Rovers」をお届けします。 いつもながらAlbert Dockさんの原稿はロジカルでスムーズで面白く読めます。 そしてトリヴィアがたくさんちりばめられていて、とても勉強になります。今ま でほとんど興味のなかったブラックバーンが、なんだかすばらしいクラブに思え てきました。この試合での戦いぶりもなかなかだったと思います。でも次はちゃ んとウチが勝つよ！ Anneさんの「クリスマスはリヴァプールで！」は、今週はお休みにさせていた だきました。Anneさんからはちゃんと原稿と写真を預かってはいるのですが、 僕のほうがバタバタとして…すみません。 実はAnneさん、ちょうど今ドイツを旅行中です。Anneさんといえばフットボー ルですから、きっとどこかでブンデスリーガを観戦されることでしょう。Anne さんが追いかけるプレイヤーといえば……？？ 次の旅行記が楽しみですね！！ ● ● ● 《インターナショナル・ビートルウィーク2015》での、日本代表バンドのギグ が決まりました。 今年は２バンドをエントリーして、各７本、合計で14本のギグが現時点でスケ ジュールされています。 ウェブサイトの『スカウスハウス・ツアー2015』案内ページに、追加で記載しま した。 http://scousehouse.net/beatleweek/scousetour2015.html このギグ・スケジュール、２月の中旬くらいには大まかなものが決まっていたの ですが、いろいろと調整をしているうちに１ヶ月以上が経ってしまいました。 ４日間で７本のギグというのは、実は結構たいへんなスケジュールです。なにし ろ会場が会場なうえに（「一生に一度でいいから聖地キャヴァーンのステージに 立ちたい！」が普通の感覚でしょう）、集まってくるオーディエンスの熱気も尋 常じゃないので、演奏するほうはすべてのステージが全力投球かつ真剣勝負なの です。 とはいえ、目的はエンターテイメントですから、どちらのバンドにものびのび楽 しんで演奏してほしいです。 さらに、今はまだ発表できませんが、スカウスハウスの独自企画として、ビート ルウィークのプログラムに載らないギグもプラスする予定です。お楽しみに！ ● ● ● 今年の日本代表バンドを簡単に紹介しておきましょう。 The Clover： 2011, 2012, 2013年に続いてなんと４回目のエントリー。東京の女性３人組ビー トルズバンドです。独自アレンジでのパワフルな演奏は、過去のフェスティヴァ ルでも熱心なファンを獲得しています（ほとんどおじさんですが…）。 2014年２月には怒涛のニューヨーク・ライヴ・ツアーを敢行し（なんと３日半で ９ステージ！）、各会場で大きな称賛を受けました。 今年のビートルウィークでの目玉ステージは、月曜日夕方の「Mathew Street Live!」。なんとマシュー・ストリートに特設される野外ステージでの演奏です。 期待しましょう！ The Blue Margarets： 驚いたかたも多いことでしょう。2013年５月に惜しまれながら解散したあの 「ブルマ」が復活です！ ２年のブランクもなんのその。彼女たちならきっと以前と変わらない、いやそれ 以上のステージを見せてくれるはずです。 ビートルウィークにはこれまで２回出場し（2009＆2010）、そのほかフィンラン ドやフランスのフェスティヴァルでも演奏したブルマは、今もヨーロッパで根強 い人気があって（こちらもほとんどおじさんですが…）、毎年リヴァプールで 「ブルーマーガレッツは？」という声が聴こえるほど。久しぶりの登場はきっと 大歓迎を受けることでしょう。 ● ● ● というわけで、今年は女性ビートルズ・バンド２組が日本代表としてリヴァプー ルに行きます。 例年よりも華やかで、笑顔の絶えないツアーになるのではと個人的には期待して います。 以下にあらためてツアー募集の告知をしておきますね。 スカウス・ハウスでは、毎年リヴァプールで開催される“世界最大のビートルズ 祭り”《インターナショナル・ビートルウィーク》の鑑賞ツアーを企画してい ます（正確に言うと「ツアー」ではなくて、リヴァプール集合＆解散の現地パッ ケージです）。 ビートルズが生まれ育った街で行われる、世界中からファンや関係者やバンドが 集まるメガ・フェスティヴァル。まさにビートルズ三昧の、夢の１週間です。 まだまだ参加者募集中。この夏、ぜひぜひリヴァプールでお会いしましょう！ http://scousehouse.net/beatleweek/scousetour2015.html ― Kaz（31/03/2015） ――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――― ▼寄稿：「Match Review: LFC vs Blackburn Rovers」 ――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――― NLW □ 「Match Review; LFC vs Blackburn Rovers」 / Albert Dock ≪ http://scousehouse.net/magazine/nlw_photo610.html ≫ Liverpool 0 v 0 Blackburn Rovers. FA Cup 6th Round Anfield March 8th 2015. Attendance: 43,820 In the fourth round of the Cup Liverpool played one of the original members of the Football League (Bolton Wanderers) at home. Here in the sixth round (quarter-final) they played another founding member, Blackburn Rovers. Blackburn were formed in 1875 and their most successful period was in the 19th and early 20th century. For example, they had already won the FA Cup five times before Liverpool FC even existed. They won the Cup in three consecutive seasons (1884-1886) during which time they went 24 games without defeat, which is still an FA Cup record. However, their last Cup win was in 1928 and their last Cup Final appearance was in 1960. In the league they have been champions three times, in consecutive years 1911 and 1912, and then again, eighty-three years later, in 1995. This last title win is of interest for at least two reasons. Firstly, their manager at the time was Liverpool favourite Kenny Dalglish, and, secondly, many felt that Blackburn had 'bought' the title. This has significance in relation to the present concerns felt by many about the increasingly distorting role of money in European football. The Premier League was then (1995) in its infancy and nowhere near as rich as it is now, so when life-long Blackburn fan Jack Walker put many of the millions of pounds he had made in the metal industry into his home-town club, they were able to buy big players like Alan Shearer, David Batty, Tim Sherwood, Colin Hendry, Graham Le Saux and Chris Sutton. At that time people objected to such a sudden large cash injection from a rich person but soon it became the norm and, coupled with ever-bigger TV deals (the new Sky deal is worth over £5 billion pounds), made the Premier League the richest in the world. (However, there are no English teams left in either of this season's European competitions and the English national side never wins anything.) The increasing domination of big money in turn led to UEFA recently introducing the Financial Fair Play rule which restricts how much European clubs can spend on transfers. So, though Blackburn have been in the Championship since 2013 and may not be well-known outside of England, they are a club of note with a rich history. Also, the town of Blackburn itself features in the lyrics of the Beatles' song 'A Day in the Life' ("4,000 holes in Blackburn, Lancashire"). * * * At the start of play Blackburn were 11th in the Championships and their hopes of a play-off place were fading. However, they had performed very well in the Cup, beating two teams from the top half of the Premiership - Swansea and Stoke - in previous rounds. They brought 6,000 fans, who occupied the whole of the lower Anfield Road end. As so often happens at games in England these days, they made more noise than the home fans for most of the match. Surprisingly, Blackburn's joint-top scorer, Jordan Rhodes, was left on the bench, which indicated a defensive approach by manager Gary Bowyer. Even though this was Liverpool's fourth game in eleven days, which included the long trip to Turkey where they were knocked out of the Europa League by Besiktas, they did not take this tie lightly. Indeed, their European loss made success in the FA Cup all the more important, so they fielded a strong side. Steven Gerrard, however, was still suffering from a hamstring injury and was not included in the squad. As the next two rounds (semi-final and final) are both at Wembley, this means that Gerrard has already played his last FA Cup match at Anfield. To remind everyone about the significance of the Cup in Gerrard's last season, there were banners in the crowd which read, 'Get Gerrard To Wembley!'. As in previous cup games at Anfield this season, the away team came to stifle Liverpool. Blackburn played 3-5-2 but for most of the match Gestede, Blackburn's other joint-top goal scorer, played up front on his own, with Rovers having nine outfield players behind the ball most of the time. Even so, it was Blackburn who had the first chance to score when in the 12th minute Gestede beat Toure to a Cairney cross but headed wide. (This was the first of only four goal attempts that Blackburn had.) Gestede, although isolated for much of the match, proved to be handful for the Liverpool defence throughout. In the second minute he collided with Skrtel, who landed awkwardly and needed treatment for eight minutes before he was stretchered off and replaced by Toure. Liverpool, who definitely did not want this match to go to a replay, pressed forward at every opportunity but could not make their greater possession (70%) count. Of their 24 goal attempts only 4 were on target, so, unlike the Bolton keeper in the fourth round, the Blackburn keeper Eastwood did not need to have a great game. The Reds did have the ball in the net after half an hour when Toure poked in from 6 yards after a corner from the right was not properly cleared, but he was just offside from Sturridge's pass. It was also a corner from the right at the same end in the 48th minute which led to Blackburn's only attempt on target. Central defender Baptiste's bullet header from Conway's cross was going into the top corner when it was turned away acrobatically by Mignolet. The clearest scoring opportunity after this went to the home team in the 82nd minute when Henderson, about eight yards out in the inside right channel, had a goal-bound shot saved, with his foot, by Eastwood. * * * Liverpool cannot be faulted for their efforts but they look tired both physically and mentally after their hard schedule leading up to this match and Blackburn took full advantage of this to put in a sound defensive performance to secure themselves a replay back at Ewood Park on April 8th. Having defeated Swansea and Stoke there already in this cup run, Rovers will be confident that they can go on to a semi-final at Wembley against Aston Villa. As the competition for European places in the Premier League is becoming ever fiercer, Liverpool have to treat this replay with great seriousness; winning the FA Cup on 30th May could now be the only chance of achieving something left to them this season. It would also, of course, be a fitting way to say goodbye to Steven Gerrard on his 35th birthday after seventeen years of first team football with the Reds and a total of twenty-four years association with the club.
